Complaint Review: Ford Motor Company

I purchased a new Ford truck in 2003. The incentive (the bait) was if I purchased a truck from this Ford dealer..I would get tires for life...now I only get lies for tires (the switch) . They said timely maintenance on the tires was needed to get the tires replaced on their dime, and the work needed to be done at the dealership where the tires were purchased ( monopolize their maintenance dollar..if work is bad they won't leave so as not to lose their tires for life). The dealer that I purchased my truck from went under (wonder why?) The new dealer made me walk for my truck and did not even drive it back to the service dept. waiting room!!..( Honda washes my wifes' car when she takes it in for an oil change! ) The last straw with this new dealer was the estimate to perform the 30,000 check up (not actual repair work) and quoted me two different prices at different times, last one was over $500) I took to another Ford dealer and they did the same work for $265 less! (why such a huge price disparity between Ford dealers?) This incentive was authorized by the Ford motor company and all over the state of Tennessee...this is wrong and no wonder Ford is on its last leg as it tries to compete against foreign competitiors...they know how to make their cusomers feel valued by the way thet treat them.
