Due to Fleets stupid and spiraling interst rates, my wife and I decided to pay any ballance on the credit card back in March. Unfortunately, her and I did not get together to find out who was paying the bill. We each made a payment of $856.73, leaving a credit on the account of 856.73.

After my wife made her payment, she cancelled the credit card. When we realized the double payment, we contacted Fleet. They stated it would take 30 days to send a refund. At this time, we have not recieved a refund, nor can we get any answers as to what the hold up is. There are no numbers other than the 800#, and no one seems to be informed as to who I can speak with.

We have been trying now for 5 months to get this situation resolved. Fleet shows the credit on the account, they just wont act on it.

It is afterall, my money. If anyone were late in paying Fleet, I'm sure they have no problem piling on interest and fees.

Next stop: Missouri States Attourneys office.
