Recently I was contacted by a company who called themselves First Enterprise. They told me I had been pre-approved for a Mastercard and a Visa both with a $2,500 credit limit and a 0% APR for as long as I held the cards for a fee of $159, which would be debited from my checking account.
I immediately asked what the catch was and was told there is no catch, that this company just specializes in helping people rebuild their credit. I refused to give them any info until I checked out their company.
They told me to check them out at Visa.com which I did and they've never heard of them. They also said they represent 1st Tenn Bank and Bank of America, yet neither have ever heard of them!!!!
When I told them this they said they would send me something in writing, a confirmation letter. That's been 2 weeks ago, funny I haven't received it yet!! They also wanted me to sign a verification card to prove my signature in case my cards got lost or stolen!! They already have my ss# which they got on line from a legit cc site. They must really think I'm stupid!! Well, I'm not and I hope no one else will let them sucker them either!!!
I noticed on a report from Donna in Eastaboga, Alabama that she also had been contacted by a Nancy Newman who represented First Consumer Group in Toronto. Her letter is what really convinced me that this company was a total fraud. Because one of the people who contacted me from First Enterprise was NANCY NEWMAN!! Also, a Maggie Brown and a guy named Dwayne(last name unknown). Please beware of anyone calling you with these names!!
You would think if they were half smart enough to change their bogus company name then they might be just a tad bit smart enough to change the name their using as their personal name!! DUH!!!! Thank you Donna for your letter and thank you rip off report for your site. Now that I've found it I check everything out completely before falling for it.
I am a disabled Mother of 4 who can't afford to be scammed and especially at Christmas time. Shame on you First Enterprise(or who ever you are this week), I hope someone busts you good for your bs!! I also have a long distance bill of $46.78 from trying to get through to you people. Although you told me to call you collect, but I never could get through that way. Your a bunch of sorry, lying, coniving jerks!!!!

First Enterprise NOT First Capital

First of all the company First Enterprise has nothing to do with First Capital.

I do not know where you got that information from. First enterprise is another company and we do not represent Bank of Tennessee or Bank of America and when the verification office from our company calls you back we tell you that WE ARE NOT A BANK OR A CREDIT CARD COMPANY that we were formed to help people to who have had credit problem in the past. All of our calls are being recorded and if you want to hear the conversation our verification department will be more than happy to help to play it for you, and if some one misleads you we can give a full refund.

If you would listen to what the sales representative was saying the third line of the script says that we specialize in credit repair. We do not have your credit file or Social security number and that you do qualify for a Store Value MasterCard along with some others benefits. If you have bad credit and can not obtain a real credit card anywhere else then this is an excellent program.

It is not our fault that you only hear what you want to. I know personally I always asked my customers do you have any Questions. Its not our fault if you do not ask any questions.
