I was called at the end of May 2002 with a credit card(Mastercard) offer from First Capitol Consumers Group.They arranged to have $199.00 debited from my account on June 7,2002 but the debit didnt go through until June17,2002.After weeks of waiting I started to make phone calls,only to get a different story every time I called.

I began to become VERY irrate so I asked to speak to the manager.I was told her name was Joy Brown.Well Joy Brown was never there or out to lunch and she would never return my calls.

I finally was told afetr making at least 50.00 in phone calls,that all I had to do was fax in my bank statement showing the debit and it would take 2 weeks to get it back.That was on Aug.6th and here it is Sept17th!!!

So that is why I started searching on the internet and finally found you sight.I hope I will see my refund soon.

10 months after the fact and I still havent heard anything from the FTC

Well here I am 10 months after the fact and I still havent heard anything from the FTC about my refund. I filed 3 reports with them and have heard nothing!!!



I read on their site that the case has a judgement against FCCG and about returning consumers money, but I cant get anyone to answer me to let me know what I have to do! Any suggestions?



I am really frustrated about this because at first the FTC said it wouldnt take long for the rest of us to get our money. Please reply. Thanks.
