The offer was a trial sample for $2.47 which was charged to my credit card and arrived by mail. 10 days later they charged my credit card $97.58 which i had not authorized nor received any addtional shipment. I called to investigate and was told that was a monthly recurring charge for the trial bottle they sent me.

Ephamere charged me but promised complete refund

Ephamere charged my credit card as in report #1417052 of Dec., 2017.  Originally I had signed up for a free trial, then more products arrived.  My husband had paid the bill before I got an email from the company, and even then it was a shipping notice, not a billing notice. There was a charge of $89.06 and another for $39.03.   I wrote to the company at ordine@chaleurbeaute.com.  I explained the issue and mentioned the Ripoff Report information.  The next day I received an email indicating there would be no further charges or deliveries, and directing me to Customer Service to discuss the issue of the refund to my credit card (888 930 0942).  "John" was very nice and assured me that all charges would be refunded, and that I could keep the product that had already been delivered, including the most recent delivery which I had not opened and which I had not even been billed for yet, which I was perfectly willing to send back.

All in all I was quite satisfied with the resolution of this problem.

I should mention that the products that I recieved from Ephamere are very good, but too pricey for me.

Hopefully Helpful,

Julie
