Complaint Review: Dubhe Research LLC

I was referred by my good friend, Sylvia, to Gira for a phone interview about some accounting software last October. Per the agreement with Gira, I would get $120 as my incentive and I should receive the incentive check in the mail 7-10 business days after the interview. Since the interview was on 10/26/17, I should have received it around the first week of November 2017. I checked my mailbox every single day throughout November but there was no incentive check. I followed up with Gira since November 2017 till now; and every time I asked her when exactly will I be paid ... the answer is "please give me couple of days, blah, blah, blah, something happened ... blah blah blah." At first, I was super mad at Sylvia. But hey, it really wasn't her fault, but it was Gira's instead. In the end of the day, Gira is the loser who broke her promise. Whatever happened in Gira's personal life is none of my business. She should pay up the $120 ASAP. 

I have sending demand letters to Gira through email. I have been super nice/polite about the situation. Since I have no other remedies to make her pay, I have to bring this whole thing here. Sylvia also filed a complaint about Gira, but, very luckily, she got paid by the end of December 2017. Can you believe that Sylvia did her interview later than me (she had it done on 10/30/17), and she got paid sooner than me???? 

I did warn Gira that if I didn't get my payment by 2/14/18 at or before midnight, I would be doing this report.
