Complaint Review: Dr. Jerry K. Izu MD

Ok this guy has already been reported once on here for issues with circumcision. Not only did he take off to much skin, but the skin reattached itself to the glans on the outer rim and it looks totally un-natural. We found out later that you dont have to do circumcisions right away. For examaple in the Jewish community they wait a number of days after birth to perform circumcision.

We wanted to wait and make sure, but he used high pressure tactics to get us to do it that day of birth. Now we are ashamed we didnt listen to our instincts. This man also kept recommending we do a C section because he said it would reduce the chance of complications during child birth. We had time to vet this idea with other doctors and found it wasn't the case. But never the less he again used High Pressure tactics to try to squeeze an extra needless procedure out of us.

We fell for the curcumcision to our discredit, but not for the C section because we had time to think. He would have been happy to do the C section even though it wasn't needed at all. You should beware of a doctor that uses your fear and ignorance against you to force you to act in haste. Now our son will have to deal with a deformity for the rest of his life.
