The whole experience was weird and shady. The moment Dr. David Tabaroki, DDS aka David Tabaroki found out i had medicaid insurance and another insurance (it seems better FOR him from what he was inferring) he made me try to say to the front desk that i had medicaid insurance. Found out later on he would be paid more with my other insurance.

Seems like an odd thing to do for quick profit. Next thing that happened was on the day of the oral surgery procedure he made sure and was strict i WAS not using medicaid. Also the same day of the oral surgery procedure to remove a few tooth David tabaroki had his dental assistants rush me into signing the procedure contract fast without even reading it thuroughly.

I find that odd even though my life is easily on the line. Also did my research and found out that general anesteshia was $1000-3000 while local anesteshia (injected in the gums by the tooth nerves) was only hudreds of bucks. He preferred anesteshia only for his profit. He does not like medicaid. Dr. David Tabaroki, DDS aka David Tabaroki was rude and if you google Dr. David Tabaroki, DDS aka David Tabaroki you will see other bad reviews of him and his medical practice.

I am not the only one speaking about this. I am speaking of my experience so no one has a huge bill. I do not have receipts anymore as proof.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU DO HAVE MEDICAID NO NEED TO TELL THE DOCTOR WHAT INSURANCE YOU USED, THEY ACCEPT MEDICAID ANYWAYS, THEY NEVER REFUSED ACCEPTING MEDICAID AT THE FRONT DESK. DAVID TABAROKI IS JUST PARANOID AT THE LITTLE MONEY HE GETS FROM IT. LOL This is my honest review on Dr. David Tabaroki, DDS aka David Tabaroki reporting an odd experience so no one can possibly experience this.

Dr. David Tabaroki, DDS also tried forcing general anesthesia

Dr. David Tabaroki, DDS also tried forcing general anesthesia. Do not sign any general anesthesia paper. general anesthesia is risky and according to any search engine of your choice there is unfortunately plenty of articles talking about deaths or medical reactions to general anesthesia. That is when I realized it's both risky and pointless for wisdom tooth removal. Local anesthesia is much safer and even cheaper. Dr. David Tabaroki, DDS has to stop trying to force general anesthesia. Another oral surgeon gave the choice. And so did another one further down by 72 by the theater. I really hate to post all of this but these are true and real concerns and this is a review..

Sounds like associates of David M Tabaroki

The responses like associates of David M Tabaroki. Suddenly there are a few responses defending David M Tabaroki without providing actual proof of anything they are saying. I agree with the last resort clause from one of the responses. I have never heard David M Tabaroki say that. He just somehow questions Medicaid. And so did another dentist for some reason. Yet no one here explains that in detail with proof. If you lookup "Medicaid Dental Benefit in NYS. Under Medicaiddental benefits exist, but the coverage is limited" you will see an article that explains further how it is limited which i guess is what he is talking about but i am unsure of that too. All people have to do is say they have straight medicaid to David M Tabaroki office employees so they do not question about more than one insurance. This is in my case.

He is paranoid at the little money he gets? YOUR words. SO if you have insurance what are you doing getting Medicaid??? And what is a "few tooth"? Seems to me that with your long worded complaint you fail to arrive at the real reason this is a rip off. And please provide proof of what anesthesia he used since you have a hard spelling to begin with.

Just don't believe you. OH and what is your primary insurance if it is not Medicaid??? Because if it is Medicare they do not pay for any dental procedures.

Medicaid is always the payor of last resort

#8Consumer Suggestion

I am sorry but you are incorrect regarding how insurance pays and in which order. The primary insurance will always the private pay insurance first then followed lastly by state Medicaid. Medicaid is always the payor of last resort. So you should really retract your statement. I worked as an RN case manager so I am familiar with how this works.
