Don't buy your Harley Davidson motorcycle @ Harley Davidson Southside Indy
I bought a 1999 1200 custom at Indianapolis,IN southside Harley davidson. With in two weeks both mirrors had broke and feel off while I and my 10 year old daughter where riding it. Then my rear rocker box started leaking oil.
The agent(Jeff Marshall)who sold me the bike also sold me a owner's extended service program and told me it was the same as having one more year added to my first year factory warranty.He said there would be NO deductible.
When I took the bike to get it fixed, there was a deductible. I have been told so many lies, even (Jerry Herbertz)who is supposed to be in management, has tried to help me with this problem, he claims Harley Davidson is not concerned about it. A brand new motorcycle is not supposed to be leaking oil from the rocker box, with 3,500 miles! Everyone I've talked to at the service department has a different story.
They treat you like a king, then you sign the contract and then you get the run around everytime you need something! They are a mom and pop business trying to act like a large company. I paid $389.00 for an extended warranty that has not done me any good at all!
The bottom line is,you can not believe anything. Especially " Jeff Marshall" who is one of the salesman. I thank God my daughter and I did not get hurt when the mirror's fell off.
