Complaint Review: Directv

Directv Directv refuses to stop my services UNTIL I pay my bill. They want to charge me for service they cannot provide and bill due is for an address with mandatory evacuation. They will not stop billing me for future charges which they cannot provide. Nationwide

 I was in mandatory evacuation from Hurricane Irma. I called and asked DirecTV to suspend my service because I do not know if I have a home and I know they cannot provide service because all utilities are down. I also told them I cannot pay my bill due because my bank is inaccessible. They said they will automatically take money from my bank they are not authorized to do so. They said they will continue to Bill me they cannot provide service and the larger part of what I owe them is services in the future. I told them I will contact a lawyer or the governor and then I came across your site I believe this could be handled more easily. They have my credit card on file and they are unauthorized to use it I am not on a direct payment plan. I have been paying my bill in person at an AT&T store in cash. I intend to sue them if they intend to steal money from my bank. What shall I do?
