I bought two new computers in January, 2000. One computer came with the Diamond Home Network installed and I bought an additional HomeNetwork card for the other. The network was almost impossible to install on a second computer as the Client and once it was installed the network has never worked properly.

The advertisement promotes how easy it is to install the HomeNetwork and does not have adequate documentation to allow to troubleshoot the problem. Diamond has an Internet customer service; however, it is of no use whatsoever, and they ask for information about your computer configuration and when you spend an hour or so retrieving it, they do not read your response and just give some standard response.

I have both the sent E-Mails and Responses to prove my point. After not getting any results from the e-mail help desk, I called the customer service phone number. I was told to swap cards around. In this process and re-installing the software, I locked up one computer that still dosnt work correctly. The cost of the cards is insignificant compared to the time and trouble in trying to get this network to work. They blame it on the Microsoft Network software.
