My civil rights were violated. I was sexually harassed and racially discriminiated against at Davidson, Davidson & Kappel, LLC. I worked here for 8 months. Desiree Whyte was the Office Administrator was the ring leader at this firm who bullied and retaliated against me to force me out of the job.

When I complained about the sexual harassment Ms. Whyte told me "What do you expect you ar a Puerto Rican s**t"!!!

On the last day of my employ she verbally assaulted and threatened me. When I told her that I would complain to the Managing Partner she retorted "If you get me fired I will make sure that your yellow-a*s is fired.." I left in tears. When I returned she refused to allow me in and told me that I had quit. WHich I did not. I have to make CHild Support Payments and would fall behind if I was unemployed. Due to this factor I attempted to remain employed in a company where I was being sexually harassed, bullied and racially discrimminiated against.

They also wanted me to quit so that they would not have to pay me Unemployment Insurance.

I have filed complaints with all the relevant agencies. And although, they are contesting my unemployment insurance benefits. Ia m presently appealing.

I was victimized by this company and my Civl Rights were severely violated. They abused me and then I had no financial recourse. I had to apply for Public Assistance.

And the irony is THIS COMPANY IS A LAW FIRM!! They are a repulsive example to their profession!! Further, I was sexually harassed by an Associate of the firm, SAlvatore Maorino, Esq. who not only harassed me but, has a prior discriminiation suit against him which was settled quietly by the firm. He is presently being sued by a MOTHER of an underage girl!! Salvatore Maorino, Esq. is being sued for SEXUAL MISCONDUCT WITH A MINOR. He took pictures in his hotel room where he went on SPring Break in FLorida in sexually explicit situations with an underage girl!! WHAT SCUM!! THis law firm, DAvidson, Davidson & Kappel, LLC are Aiding and Abetting a sexual predator til this day!!

These types of Firms cannot continue to abuse and maltreat their employees then force them out of a job without consequence and then to add insult to injury refuse to allow them to collect Unemployement Insurance Benefits.

ALso, Desiree Whtye is a racist!! She is African AMerican and racially discrimniated against me!! A minority just like herself!! She is typical of those who obtain positions of authority and instead of using them as a buffer and a bridge for other minorities instead use them to abuse and maltreat others!! She should be ASHAMED of herself!! She is a discredit to other successsful African AMericans!! ANd a discredit to all women in similar situations as myself. I was being sexually harassed and instead of Desiree Whyte being sympathetic to this due to the fact that she is a women she turns around a bullies me to such a sever degree that I had to leave my place of employ. WIth no financial prospects available.

SHAME ON YOU DESIREE WHYTE and DAVIDSON, DAVIDSON & KAPPEL, LLC for Aiding and Abetting this loathsome situation. Of my being Racially Discriminated against and being sexually harassed where they were supposed to provide me with a workplace free of harassment and discrimination of any kind under Title IV of the Civil Rights Act.


Please contact them and tell them WHAT SCUM THEY ARE!! I am sure they would love to hear it!!

And, further, my former legal represenative and I amicably went our seperate ways. It was not because my case has no merit or as you claim I had no other recourse. IF my case was as frivilous as you ignorantly imply why then are the foregoing agencies presently investigating them??

And, Sal, of course you would deny the civil suit yu have pending for sexual misconduct with a minor. You are a SMUG PIG. Nothihg more or less.

And, although, it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS I pay child support like many, many mothers do due to the fact that I had to leave my home under extreme circumstances. And further, I have FAITHFULLY and consistently paid my payments to my son. Now, that speaks VOLUMES about my character. You would know nothing about integrity or character so I will not even attempt to discuss that at length with the likes of you. CHILD MOLESTER and PEDOPHILE.

Why don't you explain why all the females in hour office are warned by THE PARTNERS themselves to stay away from you??

Why don't you explain why I have signed witness affidavits affirning your ssexually depraved character and work ethics??

Why don't you explain about your making racially degrogatory comments to a Indian AMerican associate at yor firm and he suing the firm for racial discrimminiation and the firm settling the matter because of your lack of character.

It's hard to believe that you are an attorney in light of all the FACTS stated above.

And, in conclusion, please furnish proof that these cases are indeed closed. Obviously you THE HARASSER seem to have an inside link with all the contacts I have already mentioned. YOU ARE A JOKE YOU JERK!!

The truth of this matter is that Betty is a disgruntled ex-employee who refused to do her job and poorly performed whatever few duties she actually did do. She was not fired, but stormed out of the office and did not return until the following day, after she had already been replaced with a temp.

All of her cases and complaints have been dismissed and her attorney has refused to represent her further in a civil matter because he has realized that her claims are fabricated and without merit. These cases and complaints, which she claims to have pending, but have already been dismissed, are a matter of public record. Anyone interested in knowing the truth may contact the offices with which she claims to have cases pending, inquire about the matters of Betty Parilla, and find out that they have, in fact, been dismissed by the offices themselves.
This is the truth as to why she has no recourse.

If, in fact, Mr. Maiorino was in the situation that Betty claims, would he be facing a civil law suit or a prison term? Would a mother want to sue such a "SCUM", as Betty puts it, or want to have him arrested? Mr. Maiorino is not facing any law suit, and in fact, is currently practicing law. His record as an attorney, like every other attorney's record, is also a matter of public record and the truth may be found simply by inquiring with the State's Office of Attorney Ethics.

As for Ms. Whyte, she is an African-American married to a white male and has been for over 20 years. Ms. Whyte was involved in an interraccial relationship at a most difficult time, over 20 years ago when interacial relationships were taboo and marriages were practically forbidden. She, obviously, is not a racist. In addition, Betty fails to mention that fact that she and Ms. Whyte were friends for seven years as co-workers and Ms. Whyte was the one who got Betty her job here. Why would Betty go work for someone she worked with before and knew for seven years if she was so horrible?

I know nothing of the child supporet payment situation, but what I do know is that in NY state, as with most states, the father usually pays child support and custody is given to the mother. Only in the most extreme cases, where the mother is obviously unfit, will the father get custody and the mother have to pay child support. The fact that Betty Parilla pays child support speaks volumes in and of itself and is further evidence that she is unstable and of questionable character. A family court judge obviously thought so.
