Dave resells rented dedicated servers on his website c-hosting.net. He advertises 24/7 support ond 99.9% uptime. Several months ago I signed up for a dedicated server with him. Every single time I had a problem, it took days to get a response to an emergency reboot ticket.

That's not 24/7 support. Then the server was down for 3 days and Dave said they had to change out a "LAN card". Most people would call it a nic or network card, but he didn't have to change anything! That's when I found out he's just a reseller. His provider told me that they had to replace a special router and had to fly one in over the weekend. Of course Dave stuck to his Lan card story.

Back then I should have changed to a different company, but I do support resellers. He just happens to be a very bad one! Thursday the 20th the server went down again. I open an emergecy reboot ticket and it takes over 24 hours before he answers. By the way, it takes that long becasue he does not have 24/7 support. He is the only one working there and whenever he's got time he checks tickets. Then he has to open a ticket with his provider which adds another hour or so.

Anyways, Dave told me the hard drive had crashed and would not start up again. Big problem, I should have made backups. So I asked if they could try to reboot the server again or if I could buy the hard drive. I could have sent it to a data recovery specialist. He then tells me that his technicians already sent the hard drive off to be replaced. I wonder how they did that?

So, realizing that he is just full of it, I contact his provider and learn that the server is shut off for non-payment. I made all my payments to c-hosting on time! Dave decided to keep the money and change to a new provider. He could have just told me and I would have changed to a new server as well. But he chose to just mes me up and kep my money.

I then paid his provider what was owed to get my server back on. Once on, I check and the uptime was 34 days! How can a hard drive be dead and two days later the server says it's ben on for 34 days. When confronted with this he replies with his Policies that he can shut off anyone at any time.

Dave, you thought wrong. What you have done is false advertising with your 24/7 support. Even if you now changed your website to 24/7 ticket system, that's not what you offer! You took my money and instead of paying your provider you put my oney in your own pocket and told me ties about why the server was shut of. You owe me several thousand dolars in damages! You know how to contact me.

I canceled your membership with us on the 20th the date of your re-bill and I did NOT re-bill you. It is my Right to Terminate any Client I wish to at any time I wish it.

I even allowed you to speak with the provider and to get your info off the HDD. I think that I was vary kind through all your Threats and Black mail attempts as well as your GIVE ME $2500 or YOU WILL PAY OVER $50,000 AND GO TO JAIL Every other day. I helped you get your info and you are no longer our Client due to a massive Attitude Problem.

This is my one and only response. I will not be Drawn in to more of your Fantasy
