On March 24, 2023, at 8:53pm the NRPS was alerted that Castro had cut off a court ordered ankle monitoring device. Castro is currently on charge for the offences of: Assault Assault with a weapon Careless storage of a firearm Unauthorized possession of a weapon Possession of a firearm with ammunition Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. His current location is unknown. As a result of the alleged removal of the ankle monitoring device he is now wanted for the Criminal Code offences of: Mischief under $5000 Fail to comply with a release order (2 Counts) Castro is described as: Black male 6’0” feet tall 190 lbs. On March 24, 2023, at 10:20pm the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in the area of the 400 Hwy. (southbound) and Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil, attempted to stop a white 2014 Dodge Journey van (Ont. CKLB507). Nettos was confirmed to be the driver. Nettos’ three children (ages 10, 7, 3) were suspected to be in the rear seats of the van. Castro is suspected to have also been a passenger. The van did not stop. The involved OPP officers did not engage in a pursuit and the van was last seen traveling southbound on the 400 Hwy.
