My husband got a pre-approved letter from cross country saying he could get a $300.00 dollar credit. So he fills out the form and sends it in. He gets the card but NEVER activates it. Now he is recieving bills for over 400.00 dollars. Not only do they send us bills for an account that has NEVER been activated, but they have been asked on numerous occasions to send us an itemized statement plus let us know when the card was supposedly activated and they have yet to do that.

Then on top of that- we don't have a telephone so we put my moms # on the form as a contact #. They call my mom 4 to 6 times a day harrassing her.

One lady (her name was Sandy) told my mom to go to my house and get my husband and that she would call back in one hour. My mom and dad both have explained that the # is a message phone, and that when we come down we will call them back. But they call over and over harassing my parents so bad their getting their phone installed with caller ID to avoid talking to them. When we do call CCB and ask to speak to someone who knows what their talking about- we get told that the management or whomever is in charge is busy and can't talk to us. I have had several credit cards in my life and have NEVER had the problems we are having out of Cross Country Bank.

My parents are talking to attorneys about suing them for harassment for the phone calls. Even after my dad has told them not to ever call again- they call back WITHIN the HOUR! So everytime they call-they take the employees name that calls the time and date. And pass it on to an attorney.

So all of you out there who are having trouble with CCB- you are not alone. Not only do they harrass customers but also their customers inlaws as well.
