Consumer Report Misrepresentation, Unauthorized Charges 8885930340 Nevada
I was applying for a personal loan and the loan company told me that I MUST have a consumer report in order to apply for the loan. Once guided to the Consumer Report website, it was stated that the report would cost me $1.00 usc, and I must use my credit card to order the report (no other charges were to be charged). Approx. One week later, when I added funds to my pre-paid American Express Serve card, $29.95 was deducted by this Consumer Report company lying in wait for funds to be added so that they could illegally withdraw an unauthorized charge of $29.95 from my account. I've filed a complaint and unauthorized withdrawl with American Express regarding this unauthorized transaction. (pending investagative results)
