Complaint Review: Consumer Preferred Platinum

Consumer Preferred Platinum ripoff, dishonest, fraudulent, makes me and my family feel cheated. I did not pay 49.00 dollars to get a 336 page book and a cheap plastic card and not be able to use either item. Tampa Florida

I sent in a money order for 49.00 hoping to be express mailed a platinum card with a 5,000 dollar limit. I waited almost five weeks before I got the card & catalog to order.

When I got the card and catalog friends and family members went through the book and picked out things that they would like to order.

They then gave me their money and I put it into my account. When I had everyones order and was ready to place the order online with my bank card their website wouldn't come up.

So I tried calling their customer service number and got a message saying the number is not valid. I continued to try and was finally able to pull up their website on 11-2-03.

When trying to log-in the computer continues to say log in not working. For the past four weeks I have been trying to place an order and get people their presents for christmas and birthdays and have gotten nowhere.

If you could please inform others out there that this company is nothing but a scam it would save them the time, money and heartbreak of not being able to get what they paid for.

I did not pay 49.00 dollars to get a 336 page book and a cheap plastic card and not be able to use either item.
