Complaint Review: Consumer Capital Services Also Called Consumer Network Services

I receive a call on feb 16 2004 at around 3:00 pm by a company called Consumer Capitol Services. The told me that I've been approved for 2 credit cards (visa and master card) with a credit limit of $1500.00 in one and $2500.00 on the other one. They wanted a payment of $300.00 in advance for them to send me the credit cards.

They told me they were part of the Chase Bank. The night before I applied for a Chase credit card online, maybe they were tracking what I did the night before. After I hang up the phone, I went online to look for their address online and there's no such company called Consumer Capitol Services. I called them back to the phone number they told me 1-866-206-1427 and after 5 times they answered. I ask for the address and city and state. They told me there web site is under construction and they gave me the following information.

I went online and theres no city in NJ called Twinsten, and the zip code belongs to Cottontown Tennesse. I told the lady on the phone that the city and zip code was wrong and she was upset after that, she told me in a rude manner that they been in business for 10 years and that I have to look online on the BBB web site if I want information about them. She hang up and after that day I can not get in contact with them. They withdraw $149.50 from my account on the 20 Feb 2004. Today was the last chance for them to pick up the phone. Also the check the I gave them, they didn't use them they use some electronic checks. Thats why I'm doing this complaint.

Every time I call their phone theres 3 different answering machine saying this is Consumer Network Services. So I went to the BBB site and found this company and also I found it on the rip off report web site and some other people had the same problem. I called the other phone number(866-538-5523) that is on the BBB web site and the same answering machine is there too. Who's this people.

Guess What. I got my money back by calling my bank and telling my bank the following, tell your bank manager that a fraudulent company took money from your account, and that you wish to have the unauthorized Automated Clearing House (ACH).
If the transaction was within 60 days, and you request a reversal.

I filed a complaint with the BBB, The police, the FCC and here too.

End of the story is: I got them punk'd too. hahahaha...
