1/1/2004 Compaq notebook is purchased.
yr1 of warrantee (manufacture's) keyboard is replaced
thumb pad is replaced.
yr2- CompUSA's 3yr warrantee (paid for at time of laptop purchased)System restore 12/15/2005, 12/31/2005 Replaced hard drive.

12/27/2006 hard drive replaced again, the day it was picked up hard drive fails again.
CompUSA will not replace unit will only do system restore.
Random shutting down continues.
