 I was to have paid 1500.00 for a twelve mile move. Coastal Van Lines moved me from Melbourne Beach Florida to Satellite Beach Florida. On my way to my home closing the owner Larry Parks called me , while driving to the house closing and changed the moving charge to 7500.00. He also damaged my furniture! The most horrible moving experience of my life!

We’re sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with your move, but you were happy with everything until you were informed of the new price, which was increased due to the extra services you requested. There was no intention to take advantage of you which was validated when we took this matter to court, where the judge ruled in favor of Coastal Van Lines.

 

As for the damaged pieces of furniture, you had the opportunity to file a claim within 30 days, but you did not send anything to us within that timeframe.

 

We wish you the best of luck and hope that you’re settled into your new home.
