Be aware of deceptive used car salesmen. My nightmare started when I asked Peter Myers to help me find a used car via auctions. That never happened because, as I came to realize, he had other plans in mind. Peter and I had history together so I thought he had my best interests at heart.

After months of looking for car at auctions he came up with nothing. Instead, he said his brother who owned a used car dealership, Chris Myers, had a car and I should go look at it. The first mistake I made was to ask my friend Peter to inspect the car not knowing that he was getting a commission from the sale. He called and told me that he looked at it and it was ok. So I payed the $3000 cash Chris was asking for the car.

Five days later the engine started to leak oil, I realized there were four different sized tires on the car, the driver side power door switch started to smoke and transmission fuel started to collect inside the car. Right away I took pictures and notified Chris and Peter of the problem. Peter never answered his phone and Chris' response was that he was "not a mechanic." Chris, the business owner, also stated that he had paid a mechanic to fix the car and all of the leaks.

On the seventh day I returned the car to Chris Myers Auto. The mechanic came by to look at the car and said "he did a complete head job on the engine and that the mess on the car floor "could not possibly be fuel but rather needs detailing." By this I knew right away that Chris and the mechanic knew of the problem when the car was sold. I told them it couldnt be a detailing problem because the car had a puddle on the floor and when I purchased it five days ago it was clean. At that point I decided to return the car.

After 30 long days of traveling around without a car, my money was returned to me. I believe the only reason the money was returned is because I never paid for the registration or tag, so I never took full ownership.

So people be fully aware of these used car dealers. During that time till now I haven't heard one word from Peter Myers who referred me to his brother Chris Myers Auto.
