This Chevron gas station is charging $4.29 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. They are charging $4.89 per gallon for premium gasoline. That is an extremely higher price than the other gas stations in the area who are charging no more than $3.71 for regular unleaded and no more than $3.92 for premium. This gas station is also NOT posting any prices on the sign in front of the gas station, they area where gas prices are put is blank. This is as of May 18th, 2008.

Why Buy the Gasoline at that Station?

#2Consumer Suggestion

You pulled into that station obviously of your own free will. When you looked at the pump, you saw the price per gallon. You had the opportunity to drive to another station - unless you were out of gasoline.

That Chevron station may be charging higher prices for a variety of reasons but you have to remember one main point. All gas stations buy their gasoline from oil companies. Gas stations are making big profits but it is the oil companies that are making huge profits. BP, Royal Dutch, Exxon, and others were making profits of over 50% higher than last year and it amounted to over $500 billion dollars in some cases.

Do not worry about the individual gas station ripping you off. You can always find another station for a few cents less per gallon. It is Big Oil that is destroying the economy of the USA.
