In roughly may 25 of 2006, i called to activate the cards. when i activated the cards i was informed that the card with a credit limit of 8500 dollars was for catalog purchases only and that the other card was for cash advances and that i would have to call another number to apply for an actual credit card.

In july i can confirm that i actually recieved the catalogs to find out that everything in the is over priced. the best example is that there is a HP 3930 deskjet printer advertised for 129.99 when i got the exact same printer in december of 2005 for under 50 dollars. if you know anything about computer products and electronics in general, prices usualy drop after being out on the market for a year, not go up.

I called this company in augest explaining to them that i am dissatified with their prices and that everything or close to has at least a 30% mark-up and that i wanted to cancel my account with them and have my 199 dollars refunded. he explained that my account is non-refundable and that i could still cancel my account if i wrote a letter to them. the agent never informed me that i was about to pay 342 dollars in additional fees. was fee was rush processing, another was scurity, and another fee was MEMBERSHIP Fee. Keep in mind i have already paid company 199.00 to activate the account which i thought would make it so i could have a 8500 CREDIT CARD which wasn't the case. i have yet to contact the second portion of this company to activate my cash on demand card. In September i find that this company automatically billed my bank account 3 seperate times at once to pay for these additional fees that i was not aware of. due to the fact that i was not expecting the money to be withdrawn, i didn't have enough money in my account to cover it. my bank automaticaly charged me two over the limit fees for the transactions. also because this company cashed out my bank account. i had about 4 more tranactions that were forced to get charged with a 19.00 over the limit fee. i had so many over the limit fees that one of my bills wasn't even paid and was charged fee's by them as well.

I imediatly call up cca and was put on hold for an hour or more (which was being called through a tmobile pay as you go phone) to find out that there was nothing that i could do about it and that if i read the extremely SMALL FINE PRINT on their 6 page document, then i should have been aware of this. i once again explained to this agent that i wanted my account cancled and my money refunded and put back into my bank along with extra money to compensate for the fees listed above. the agent said that i could cancel my account but i would still have to pay all of the fees so there would be no point in cancelling my account. the fees are non-refundable. ALL OF THEM. the agent did say that he will send me a 200 dollar money voucher (he actually sent two) to compensate for what happened to my account.

At this point. i finally am tired of talking to the agent and have used up about two plus hours of phone time and agree that there is no point in cancelling since i have already been charged for the service and agree to the money vouchers. once i hang up the phone i pick up the catalogs to realize that one of the catalogs is labled srping and the other one is labled vol. 9. it is well past spring and is more close to fall. now obviousely upset because these are the only catalogs that were sent and were also sent late, after looking over the details for a month, i finally go to my bank to explain the situation to them, bringing the poor quality catalogs with me as well. the bank explains that they can reverse all of the charges except for the initial on back in may because it is over 90 days old, but the company may still try to get the money out of me. my bank fixed my issues with the transactions and also reversed all of the over the limit charges as well.

About a week later after i have confirmed all charges were reversed, i call up CCS first national once again to be put on hold for an hour (the month is now october) after the agent picks up the phone, and i give her my SN and the reads it back to me so it's being brodcasting all over the wireless networks multiple times, i ask her what my current status is with the company and why the last magizine that i recieved says spring and vol 9 when it is now october well past spring. i argue with this person for over an hour explaining that i want to cancel my account and that this business has been reported all over the internet and has many prior legal issues. she explains there is nothing wrong with the company. i explain to her that everything in the catalog is marked up at least 30% or more and the first cover on the page says that the offer compettitive prices. she explained that they are compettitive i listed 5 examples in vol 9 stating that they aren't also including the fact that i'm paying an extremely HIGH PREMIUM for these catalogs that have way outdated items in them.

The agent continues to explain that my bank revoked access and had my funds reversed but i still owe them over 300 dollars and that is why i haven't recieved current catalogs. these funds were just barely revoked from cca and there is no reson why they couldn't have sent me updated catalogs.

She explained all of the fees to me (nicely), explained that if i would have read my 6 page document word for word, then i would have seen these fees. the fee's can not be refunded. she also explained to me that she is going to send me the most current catalogs and make sure that i get the catalogs that are about to come out in the begining of november.

November came and i got a catalog. this time the catalog said VOL 9 (same one i already had) and spring. the fall. the fall one was different because i had the spring one, yet it is november and i never recieved vol 10. i was enraged that they sent me the same catalog. once again, in november i called multiple times explaining that that the catalogs that were sent was the same ones that i already have and that i was upset about their service and they are black listed on the internet along with the fact that their is prior legal settlements with the company and all i want is to have to current amount due dropped to zero and the can keep the activation fee. i didn't care at this point. they continued to say that the fees are non refundable, but i can cancel the membership if i want if i write to them in a letter. i will still have to pay all of their fees including late fees.

FAST FORWARD TO DECEMBER 14.

my account is now suspended and they told me that unless i bring my balance up to date, THEY WILL NOT HONOR MY CREDIT VOUCHERS. They will not refund my money. i called on the 13th to explain that i am completely unsatisfied with their service and their catalog prices in general. main reason is that i haven't recieved the current catalog to even be able to change my opinion about the fact that their catalog is EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. to add to everything else they are reporting me to experian and other credit report companies saying that i'm not paying.

i called today on the 15 od dec to explain to him that this company has been reported as a scam 885 times and that there is now a mulitude of warnings against the company. i asked to talk to kelly the ceo of the company and couldn't. i explained to the agent that i am forced to seek help with my state legislature, my sennator, and file a claim agianst the company. the agent said to do as i like.

catalog prices are worse than before

i everything in the electronics and clothing section of their catalogs is marked up anywhere from 30% to 100% they stand by their non-refundable policy but wont stand by "PRICES THAT YOU DESERVE" and "COMPETITIVE PRICES" i have wasted more time talking to them then i have talked to my friends or even my parents over the last year. i'm at the point that since they said that they have comparable prices and even cheaper prices than rc willeys, that i'm going to copy and paste all of the items that rc willeys offers and that this catalog offers, write a letter to shane kelly the ceo and demand my money back. then if that doesn't work. i'm going to have to look into filing a lawsuit.
they are offering a sandisk c100 series mp3 player 2gig version for 229 dollars. at rc-willeys, it costs 99 dollars and is slightly better than the version they are offering. if you go to sandisk.com it also costs 99 dollars for the exact same model. everything. EVERYTHING is over price and they say it is a good deal because they report to a credit reporting company.
