Carnet insurance agency is the most unprofessional agency I have ever dealt with. This company changed billing agency and did not send me a billing statement last month and sent me a letter stating my insurance was canceled on 06/04/01 for non-payment and on the cancellation letter the idiots at carnet even put the wrong broker on it.

I received the notice on 06/09/01 and no calls were made to me to ask why I haven't paid or to let me know they were canceling my insurance So that 5 days to drive my car without any insurance I could have got in an accident or gotten a ticket because the people at carnet are not doing there jobs.

I have tried repeatedly to get in contact with them over the phone and no one ever answers and there's no message machine. I've written them several e-mail stating my problem and still no answer.

The only one that I can get a hold of them is though my broker and they tell her they sent it out but I highly doubt it and they want me to pay a reinstatement fee. I have a feeling that they are doing this to other customers as well just to make an extra buck. I guess that what i get for shopping around for the cheapest I could find. I send my regards to any one that ever has to file a claim with them.

After waiting online I finally got through to a customer service person. I added a car to my insurance and was asked to send in 50 bucks, copy of the title and a statement saying that I wanted to add the car to my policy. That was 2 months ago.

I have called back 4 times and every time I get the same story ohh it was mailed out. Never have recieved it. The funnt thig is that when I called last I spoke to the same girl that I had spoken to twice before and she told me that there was something wrong with my mail. What a joke.

I also called them because I had not recieved a staement and they told me I payed too much. the agent said that my payment wasn't due for another month and that everyhting was ok. Well the next month came along and my bill was doubled. I called about it and was told it was a computer error.

this company is an absolute joke!! It's no wonder every broker here in scramento won't refer them. Thay stink!!1
