Complaint Review: CAMCO Capital Acquisition And Management Company

My niece answered the telephone shortly before noon on Tuesday July 1st and the man on the other end asked if Ray was there. Since she was visiting, she didn't know if I had a brother named Ray or not. She asked the man to hold and got my 17 year old daughter on the phone.

My daughter informed Mike Langley from CAMCO that there was no one by the name of Ray that lived here. He told her that Ray had called from this number a couple of weeks ago and that he needed her to put him on the phone.
Again, she told him there was no Ray that lived there or visited there. She did not know anyone named Ray.
Mike said to her "I don't know what the hell you're up to lady, if you're screening your calls or what, but Ray called from this number and I want to speak with him"! She told him again that Ray did not live there, visit there or anything else. She told him he could call the police or whoever he wanted to confirm that. He told her he was one of those (indicating law enforcement) and he could confirm for himself.

She called me and told me how rude he was. I had her to get his number off the caller i.d. and I called the company. He did not leave his name so it took a little while to get him on the line. The person that answered asked me if I had called the 866 number and I told her no that I had called 1-847-303-5134. She said "Oh, you are calling that number". She got Mike Langley on the phone.

I asked his name and he told me. I asked if he had called my house. He wanted to know what time I was referring to. I told him some time today before noon. He asked me how close to noon, was it earlier today or just now or when. I told him he had talked to my daughter and I did not know what time exactly but I could tell him the number he called and maybe he could look it up. He looked it up and called me "Ray" as if I were Ray. I told him I was not Ray, but that he had called my house for Ray and I wanted him to know that Ray did not live there, nor did I know anyone named Ray. He said "Well Ray called from this number a couple of weeks ago; how did he do that if you don't know him"? I told him that I could reasure him no one called from my house named Ray. He said "You better hope to God he didn't for your sake". I asked him what he meant by that and he told me that for my sake I better just hope that I was telling the truth. I asked what was so serious that he would have to threaten me like that and he told me he could not discuss that with me since I was saying I wasn't Ray; he could only discuss that with Ray.

I told once again that I did not know Ray, but what I wanted him to know was that he needed to take my number off of his call list and not to ever talk to my daughter or anyone else's daughter in that tone again. He told me that he did not talk to or say those words to my daughter and I should believe him because he was professional and she was a kid. He also told me that he would call back when he wanted to until he found Ray. I told him if he did I would send his name to the Attorney General's office for harrasment. He said "Since you know the law or think you do, why don't you just do that. You just better hope you don't know Ray and that's for your sake. If there's nothing else I can help you with, thank you for calling". Then he hung up.

I called back to speak to his boss and the man that answered the phone told me the boss was on another line. He wanted my full name and other information that I told him I would give the boss when I talked to him. He told me that if I would not give him that info then he would send me to voicemail and the boss would call me back at his convenience (very rude person).

I told him I would have my attorney call back if that's how he wanted it. He told me then that the boss just got off the phone and transferred me to him. The boss'name was Mario Bianci. He got the number that Mike had called and explained to me that they had bought the acct. from another collector and that the notes that collector had given them said that he had called my telephone number and spoke with Ray. He said Ray was going on a vacation and that his ex-wife was the one that backed out on paying the bill.

He said that Mike had read these notes and since it said my number was where Ray had been reached, then he wanted me to contact Ray to call them back. I told him the same thing - Ray does not live here, has never lived here, has never visited here and I have never heard of anyone in my family named Ray.

He said "Well there's something not right here cause Ray called from your house". I told him there has not been anyone even to visit our house since Christmas except for the little girl that's my niece. There have been no males in my house other than me.

He told me that I would have to understand that the information they have says different. I told him that I wanted him to talk to Mike Langley about how he talked to my daughter and to let him know he should never do that again to anyone.

Mario told me that he would not tolerate Mike using that kind of language, but that if he didn't have a recording of the conversation that I would have to understand that he would not be able to do anything about it, but he would mention it to him.

He was nice, but I know that he will never do anything to Mike Langley about what he said. He has probably done that to lots of people. That's just one more reason that people like him should not be allowed to call your house.
