Complaint Review: Burlington Coat Factory

I bought a baby dresser for my daughter in January 00'. I did not receive it until April. When we arrived home and opened it, the dresser was badly damaged. I immediately called and they promised a new one. It then again took several weeks before I gave up and requested a refund, this was in May. We then had to bring the dresser back ourselves. Our refund was processed and was told that we should receive a check within 4-6 weeks. It is now July, so I called the corporate office, customer support. His name is Rod Smith. First, they did not have any of my paper work, which meant that no check was never made, and I had to fax my copies of the transaction. He then said they found my paperwork and that they would credit my credit card and it would take 24-48 hrs. to see it on my statement. It has been a week and now I can't even get in touch with anybody at the corporate offices. All I get is voice mail. I will never ever get anything from the Burlington Coat Factory again!!!!!!
