Buildium Promised services they did not have and made it extremely difficult to cancel Boston MA Massachusetts
Started a subscription with them after being promised the ability to electronically draft payment from tenants. Turns out they cant do it without pulling a credit report and "lending" you the money... Still don't understand this. Wouldn't have been a big deal (Not every service is for everyone) but it became nearly impossible to cancel the subscription. We were required to talk to several people and re-state the issue over and over before we were allowed to get placed in a queue to get a call back. This exact process happened 3 or 4 times over the course of a couple months before we eventually got it cancelled but not after having been billed several fees. Escalated the issue and provided proof that we had been trying to cancel the service for quite some time and eventually got a partial refund but it honestly wasn't worth the hassle. I don't want to bash the services of the company because I never got the chance to use them but from an integrity standpoint, I would not recommend them.
