Complaint Review: budget rent a car

i reserved a car on dec 20, 2013 to take a road trip for 7 days.  I was quoted $750.  When i got to the rental counter i was told a different price and that the car i reserved wasnt available, i wasn't happy i had no choice than to take the other car but told the lady in the counter i would most likely bring the car back, she said call costumer service and explain to them and they will credit your account when you bring the car back early.  So i called and was reassured that i would get refunded if i brought the car back.  I cancelled my trip and took the car back 3 days later because of work only to be met with another counter clerk telling me to call costumer service since he couldn't refund my money.   Till this day i haven't seen any refunds and costumer service is extremely rude and useless.  this company has 407 bad reviews and complaints including an ex employee speaking out about budget's scams and a you tube video exposing them.  There is also a lawsuit against them at ada.org.  Beware of these con artists with license  to operate.  run run run.
