Jan '06: Received notice from trainer that contract had run out. Did not wish to renew, but had paid for 52 sessions as yet unused. Called BOC customer service and waited on hold for 20 minutes. Told that I had six months to use up sessions, and billing would cease. rep assured me that problem was resolved and I would receive no more charges to my credit card. No further action required.

Feb '06: reveived charge on credit card. called and waited on hold for 20 min. told that company had changed hands and my records would be searched. Reeived call back confirming that I was not to be charged for Feb, and the problem was resolved.

March '06: received credit for march and charge for Feb. Called and waited on hold, again 20 min. Got shuffled through service reps. Funally told that I cannot fight the charge for Feb b/c they require 30 written notice for cancellation, as stated in contract, and that I have no recourse, but to pay up.

If written notice is required, why did each and every rep tell me that my phone call was sufficient to solve the problem? Sounds like they are intentially misleading me and stringing me along to suck out what money they can. With 52 sessions owed, and a request to use them up, why would I pay for another month's worth? Fraudulent!

I have to agree with the last post. My experience with BOC was horriffic as well. I went to them to better myself and was left feeling worse than when I began. They have no trainers available, the trainers they hire are not certified, the trainers that do have some sense leave shortly after they are hired and the contracts leave you pretty much in the dark. Customer service???? Is that what they have? I think not. All they do is give you the run around until your contract expires and then hound you for the money even though they cannot provide you with what you paid for - TRAINING!! I cannot stress this enough... do not waste your money on these people. They appear to be in the business of hurting people rather than helping them.

Take care.

Craig,
What planet are you living on? Body of Change's business practices are HORRIFIC. How long did you work there? Not long evidently. You dont have to be a genius to know that BOC exploits the hell out of the clients and trainers alike. I worked for BOC for 2 years, and I have seen deceptive sales practices and flat out fraud directed at the clients on a daily basis. I have seen people get ripped out of hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars. So dont tell that poor woman to keep paying, and training with them. You are just walking her into the fire. BOC's entire system is a joke. It is designed purely to separate people from their money, and has nothing to do with quality fitness training. BOC are nothing but greedy criminals. They hire scumbags because they themselves are scumbags. Wake up!!!!!!

Fight those low-lives!!! ,Jeff

I am an ex employee however I am sure their intentions are to do what they say. Some of the employees dont know all the policies and are still learning. You are unfortunately being learned on. If they tell you they are refunding your monies then put it in writing as well. This is to assist them in helping you. Remember they have thousands of clients. They are trying however it is difficult with the volume of calls they get. I empthize with you however keep plugging away. They will keep their word. They are only here to help you. If I were in your shoes I would let them train you. You will feel more energy, vibrant and look younger. Its the best investment you can make. My short interaction with the company showed me that they are good people, religous and will do everything to help you. If there is an error they will correct it. Just keep at it. The managers are caring people and here for you.
