Horrible and harrowing experience at Blanche Macdonald. The entire school is set up to allow teachers to excercise power rather than to teach students anything. They are paid nearly minimum wage, and it seems the real way they are compensated is in their ability to bully and push around the students.
The education is horrible and does not prepare you for the real world. I feel like the 10's of thousands of dollars that I spent was flushed down the toilet - funding the cultural hornets nest that is Blanche Macdonald.
The culture is TOXIC. Catty teachers that focus more on taking marks away for arbitrary reasons such as: wearing a jacket in class, bringing coffee to class or studying on your cell phone when you are finished your work. They treat you like children.
The teachers get in your personal space, are verbally abusive, terse and constantly snapping at students. They give no positive reinforcement and look for any opportunity to grade you based on their ability to excercise power over nonsense rather than being invested in the blossoming of their students.
AVOID BLANCHE AT ANY COST. I DON'T BELIEVE THEIR REVIEWS ARE REAL ON GOOGLE.
