Credit Cards

You are right they don't care. But guess what NO credit card cares, as 99.9999% of the credit cards out there have ZERO grace period. If the payment is due on the 3rd at 5PM and you pay it at 5:01PM you are late.

But also guess what. This is what YOU agreed to when you opened and subsiquently used the card. Yes those terms that you agreed to and probably didn't read do actually mean something. When you opened the account, along with the Interest Rate there were Federally required Disclosures that specified if there was any grace period. When you receive your monthly statement it clearly states the due date of your payment, and that you could be subject to late fees if you pay after the specified time. So to say that you had no idea you would be charged a late fee, is either an out and out lie, or you are just very clueless about credit cards.

If you say you knew you COULD be assessed a late fee but figured that you had a good enough excuse that they would make an exception, unfortunatly that is just your own entitlement showing through. As everyone who is late always has a reason that THEY think is important and why they should be given an exception.

Now, I did take a look and they accept On-Line payments. Meaning that you could have gone online on the 3rd and made your payment from your bank account and NOT have been considered late.

YOU Are The Problem

YOU agreed to make each and every payment on time, every time! That's a FACT! It's up to YOU to manage YOUR money so YOU can pay on time just like YOU agreed to. There's no fraud here. It's just YOU whining about the consequences YOU bring upon YOURSELF by YOU not paying on time! Oh, speaking of "time", now's the time for you to make us all laugh by writing back, "You must work for them!"
