this happpen in 2009 last summmer about a 4month time frame.
i mailed a dvd recorder to the company bgh electronics.
i sent $20 and a note on what needed to be fixed as requsted.
after 2 weeks i called to verify if they received the dvd unit
the contact person is very rude and you have to drag info out of her.
she makes you feel like you are bothering her by calling and asking about progress.
all i was told everytime i called was we are waiting on a part.
i eventually got to talk to a person who said he was the owner.
i explained to him my problem with the dvd unit and the lack of contact to
keep the customer informed.
he to my perception seemed to not have knowledge of the situation like this was the 1st time he even heard of my repeated requsts for updates.
he said he would personnally look into the matter and then ask me who manufactures
the model of dvd in sent them. the model was LITEON he said i don't even know who makes LITEON do you.
he said i will look in to it myself.
the next day my dvd player arrived at my home in the mail.
they already mailed it back as he lied about trying to get it fixed
i truly believe this company just takes in deposits and hopes people get frustrated
with their poor customer service and gives up.
