I want everyone who reads Fangoria (and everyone else who ever plans to go to a Creation convention) to know that Creation Entertainment cannot be trusted. I got ripped off by them, and I want you to know about it.

My tickets didn't arrive in time (though I paid for them in advance more than two weeks). This is the second time this has happened to me. Anyway, I realized that no address was given for the location of the event (the Pasadena Weekend of Horrors on August 12th), so I tried to find out where on a map the Pasadena Civic Center is; it turns out there is no such building; it's just a section of the town.

I called Creation to ask for directions (this was the third time I'd called them during this ordeal), and never got my call returned. I then called on Saturday to just cancel my tickets and to demand a refund, and they decided to close an hour early that day, so I only got a recording, with no option to even leave a message.

It seems that this company can't be trusted. I'm sure that I am out the $36 I paid for tickets. I'm so ticked off at them. I just want people to know that though they seem to be the #1 Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror convention company, they still can't be trusted. Good luck in the future. Thanks for letting me gripe. I deserve to. Long live the Rip Off Report!!!

Subject: I need to edit the info for a report

Hi,

My name is Kelley Tinker. I need to edit the info for the report I submitted about Creation Entertainment.

The story title is: Beware Creation Entertainmnet. I filed the report on August 11. The city and state of the company is: Glendale, CA.

I need to add the following:

I wasn't ripped off afterall. I was able to get in touch with the

company, finally, and they said I could get a full refund, no problem at all.

The secretary was very nice and helpful. I just wanted to apologize for making the report so harsh, and presuming I would get ripped off.

I still wasn't given the info I needed and tickets were still late; however, at least I am able to get a refund for the late, unused tickets, so I am happy, and would like to make this report non-existent, if possible. Otherwise, please add this to my report. I think I was probably too harsh and presumed too

much.

I should have waited until Monday to file the report, but I was just so angry.

All who read this, please know that if Creation does get your tickets to you late, you can get a refund, as long as you mail the tickets back to them, to prove you didn't go.

Thank you, Ripoff Report, for letting me add to my report.

They did refund my cash, so I'd like you to update that particular report. Thank you, and long live the Ripoff Report!
