Complaint Review: Better Business Bureau

Better Business Bureau BBB Refusal to investigate companies where interests converge, giving A+ rating to dishonest companies Arlington Virginia

The BBB has given Chegg, Inc, an A+ rating, in spite of the fact that Chegg is not rated A+ anywhere else on the internet's biggest rating sites. They censored complaints that I made against Chegg for their dishonest and deceptive billing practices, and unfair banning of accounts. This was an issue with several different users, as evidenced by social media comments and TrustPilot, SiteJabber, and ConsumerAffairs reviews, as well as complaints on BBB's own website that were censored.

Chegg bans paying customers for using multiple devices (even though it's not against their ToS), falsely accuses them of account sharing, revoking the account just a few days after deducting money from your bank. They're a clearly dishonest business, yet the BBB gives them an A+ rating.

Similarly, BBB gives other dishonest businesses, like AT&T, an A+ rating as well. the BBB is clearly corrupt and unreliable, and not credible.

The BBB is the very last place to look for recommendations on any company. They are a joke.
