Complaint Review: Best Buy

Best Buy I purchased a tv and i was told i would recieve $200.00 rebate. But instead i have a piece of paper that has printed $200.00 ripoff. from the NFL. The sales rep at best buy and NFL promotion are very misleading. Houston Texas

I had purchesed a 52" flat screen, thinking i was geting a good deal because i was told their would be a $200.00 rebate from the samsung/NFL promotion. Instead i recieved a $200.00 ripoff certificate for some web site that sells nothing of value except dust collectors that has no value. Buyer beware of the NFL promotion, if it sounds to good to be true. Its probably a scam that we the consumer will lose and the big NFL will profit from it.

Same exact thing happened to me. The salesperson said my T.V. would be $999 after the $200 mail in rebate check arrived in the mail. But all I got was this useless coupon which in no definition of the word can be considered a rebate for my purchase. If you search for Best Buy on this site, you'll see quite a few people with this problem. Submit a report to the Better Business Bureau and your state's Attorney General's office. It doesn't take long, and if enough of us speak up, something MIGHT be done, but that might be wishful thinking. I don't see Best Buy stepping up and doing the right thing.
