Complaint Review: Best Buy

I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator on October 28 1999 with a rebate of $50.00. The Best Buy store located in Murrieta,Ca, was out of rebate forms, so had to call 800 number to receive one finally sent in form with information for a $50.00 rebate. I called several times, they had received the form and it was in the computer but would be processed in a few weeks, give it six weeks and then 10 weeks. Finally after talking to a supervisor and faxing a copy of the rebate form that I had mailed in, several weeks later I received a check for $39.95, this was received in March 2000, this was 5 months later and $10.05 short. This a small matter but the public should beaware of their rebates, they may never get them.
