I reserved a room at this hotel because we close to the place I needed to go and I checked in a little bit late because of some.probelms of flights that were canceled because of weather. The person who was there, a guy , J.D was super cordial and saw the documents for my service dog and rapidly gave us a room. Next day I woke up with some girl saying I had to leave the room because their late checks out was just until 12:30, I asked to speak with manager ,who called and I explained.

I was gonna take around 5 minutes more of the room and that's what happened. Suddenly someone knocked at my door and my dog is a psychiatric service dog because I have panic attacks and agoraphobia as I have been assaulted and I'm scared of surprises and I was inside bathroom and she barked to warn  me there was someone at the door. I promptly opened and we left.

I had to wait for some friends  and the owner said I could wait on the lobby. I went outside to walk my dog and when I tried to go back inside, promptly jumped in front of me and said I could not get inside with my dog, I explained she is a service animal and he said she is probably emotional support dog, what I promptly corrected saying I have all her registration but he was super rude and said that he didn't want to see and locked the door right on my face.

You registration is actually only for a ESA. ESA for lodging in hotels are not considered service animals. ESA are only considered Service Animals for 1 or 2 things. ADA  requires the dog have a specific ADA approved training and not some random 3rd party site. The 2 things they are considered service animals federally are. 1. Airplane and Train .

2. Landlords with 5 or more properties.
