Complaint Review: AvanQuest

I went to Palm Beach State College as a computer science major.

I am a webmaster and know my way around a computer.

I had a friend that wanted some pictures recovered that were deleted.

I went to Office Depot and PAID for Fix It Utilities by Avanquest.

This was not freeware off the internet as I paid for this.

My laptop never surfs the net - NEVER.

After I loaded this Fix It Utilities on my laptop I had noticed my home page changed to Conduit search and a MixiDJ V8 toolbar was installed.

I uninstalled the Fix It Utilities and could not get rid of the toolbar as it would not allow me to uninstall it.

I finally had to do a system restore to go back to a prior time to get rid of this spyware.

I would avoid all products from Avanquest software as I know I shall.
