Here is my story. I am a sports fanatic and wanted desperately to connect with Bien sports channel. AT&T local office assured me they had Bien in their lineup. After installation of AT&T services I learned Bien sports was having contract disputes with many carriers.

Immediately I called AT&T customer service to cancel my service. I was transferred to a BS artist who refused my request. He kept talking in circles and tried to convince me to keep the service. After more than 15 minutes of saying sent my charge of $128 to collections and that dropped my credit score by 92 points.  Thanks AT&T.  Hope you rot in HELL!

Absolutely.

How can anyone say positive things about AT&T knowing their sales and service tactics? I did refuse to pay for something I did not get.  Over time it followed as you said--a revenge maneuver on their part to hurt me.

3800 plus complaints can't be wrong.  So, yes, I believe you have a reason for "sticking up" for the thieves.  Like minded thieves stick together.

I signed up with Directv and internet/phone services with them years ago. Price stayed the same for over 10 years then the prices went up but they refused to honor the contract I signed. Dropped them after 14 years of unreliable service (yep 14 years) - No wonder the CEO makes so much money. Pathetic service from a pathetic company.

What you seem to be trying to say is out of the clear blue sky, the big bad man at the cable company sent your account to collections for absolutely no reason other than to get even with you, right? You may be able to convince the feeble minded of this but not all of us are that stupid.

Accounts get sent to collections because they are PAST DUE. I would bet the REAL STORY is you tried to cancel by not paying and they disconnected you. You ignored their collection calls and they correctly reported you to the credit bureau. Now's the time to write back "you must work for them"!
