Called Glen on 5/21/2018 to have our fridge repaired, scheduled for 5/22/2018

 

5/22/2018 Glen arrives and does a "diagnostic check" by basically throwing easy buzz words at me like condenser fans, etc. Opens the back up and basically finds no info and decides the fridge needs a "Freon Recharge". Says he's missing the fitting and needs to go pick up the freon and that he'll be back in 15-20 minutes. Also mentions the repair will cost $267 and he only accepts cash or check.

 

30 minutes later he comes back with what looks like a can of Freon and some tool and says he'll get to work, I hear noises coming from the back of the fridge and I assumed he was doing the work. Afterwords he immediately closes the back of the fridge and pushes it up to the wall and states it'll take apporximately 24 hrs for the effects of the recharge to really take notice. I, knowing nothing about how fridges work, assumed him to be telling the truth and paid him for his work. He states he'll email me my receipt along with his warranty for 2 years on his work.

5/23/2018 24 hrs later no difference on our fridge, haven't received an email with my receipt, and he's not answering phone calls from my phone nor other phones. Pretty sure I've just been scammed
