Complaint Review: Arapahoe County Court and Arapahoe County Government

Denver makes more than $100,000 off of every person they prosecute from arrest to sentencing. And more than 50% of arrest warrants across Denver  are estimated to be linked to people listed as homeless or transient regardless of the offense.

And homelessness in Colorado is criminalized all over the goddamn f*cking state that its even a $1,000 fine just panhandling in Castle Rock in Douglas County. Its literally nothing but a goddamn f*cking money scheme. Criminalization doesn’t just affect homeless people-it also effects people going into homelessness and also people fleeing DV too.
