Rec'd pre-approved app. for CorTrust Bank & Legacy aka First National Credit Card.
CorTrust sent me card and after dedudting various one-time fees I was left with approx. $57---I closed acct. & paid off total amount of $333.49, including payment online they received a total of approx. $320.00 from me on 7/9/08.

Legacy aka First National Credit Card ( a sister Co. to the above) was almost same senario, however, they were pd. mo. fee in May 2008 online, I did not make June payment so I called them to say when I would send a payment & they proceeded to go into my personal checking acct. and retrieve $93 without my authorization on July 3, 2008. When I spoke with them explaining reason for non-payment in June I said "at some point after July 3rd I will be sending monthly payment due in full". I am disputing this with $93 with my bank & mentioned that to them & they angrily told me they would not have taken money if I had not authorized it, they had no way of knowing my bank info---I mentioned the online payment in May 2008 & they said "that's a lie!! You never made a payment online with us!!.

I have documentation of all negotiations with both of the above credit card thieves and if there is ever a class action suit against one or both I would readily jump on board!!!!

Beware, beware---Don't fall into need so they get their thieving claws in you--they are sister companies & work together and make out like bandits---I thought I was smart but you're never smart enough---Any class action suits out there?
