Complaint Review: AMPCO Parking Systems

I would like to make a complaint about AMPCO Parking systems in Denver, Colorado.

I have a handicap plackard and park in a designated handicap space at the Parkway apartments. I have spoken with the managers at the apartment complex on many ocassions and I have been told that I do not need a monthly parking permit to park in a designated handicap space if I have a valid handicap plackard or permit.

I have received numerous tickets from AMPCO while parked in these designated spaces for not having a valid monthly permit. I have called AMPCO concerning each of these tickets and have been assured that it is their mistake and that the parking attendant in charge of giving the tickets should know better than to ticket people in handicap spaces.

Each of my tickets has been dropped. However, I keep receiving tickets almost everytime I go there. This has become atleast a weekly ritual. I have talked to the ticketing supervisors all the way up to the area manager, and nothing has changed.

The reassurance that it will be taken care of is no longer satisfactory because obviously nothing has changed and I continue to recieve these tickets.

When speaking with the area manager I felt as if I was burdonsome and that he really could care less. However, to me this is getting out of control, and is a burden to have to keep calling every week to get these tickets dismissed.

Is there anything I can do to get some help, and stop getting these tickets? Who should I contact that will care and make the necessary changes, so that myself and other handicap individuals are not targeted and harassed by this company and their overzealous parking attendants?
