I filed a rip-off report months ago on this company and am still constantly fighting them. I have contacted my loan advisor who helped me get the original loan on our house. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau TWICE, the Attorney General and lawyers!
I contacted Ameriquest to request ALL of our loan documents, including good faith estimates. Do you know what they sent me?? My appraisal and credit report AND a letter stating that by keeping those documents, I agree not to use them in any other way except for my own records...they were covering their butts! I am so completely frustrated with this company and can not BELIEVE they are allowed to be in business. We were charged $9,000 in closing costs including $250 courier fees and other ridiculous fees.
When I asked for a copy of the good faith estimate (which I remember closing costs being around $4,000), they sent me this bullcrap document stating that my actual closing costs were actually less than the estimate.....by about $50!!!! NO WAY!
FINALLY, I received a letter today from ripoffreport stating that there is a law firm interested in filing suit against Ameriquest and I was so happy I almost started crying!
