Complaint Review: Americrdit

Riverside Metro Auto Group Llc knowing took an credit application from my ex fiancee's boyfriend using my credit information and gave him a 1998 Mazda Pickup. I advised Americredit of the fraud and they did nothing. I found the truck and told them its whereabouts so the could pick up thier investment. The did nothing.

Then they pressured me into making 3 payments threating to ruin my credit. I made the payments and to this day it is on my credit report. # months ago they sent a repo man to my house to pick up the truck. Yes folks 5 YEARS later.

I told the repo man I never had the truck. Told him where it was at the time. He laughed and said that Americrdedt was a wierd company and this was not the first time he was assigned to something like this. This account was charged off years ago. I have dispured this with all 3 of the consumer credit reporting agentcies but Americredit still insisting it is my account.
