American Freight Completely Incompetant Lakeland Florida
My husband and I purchased a mattress from American Freight. Knowing it was a discount store, we did not expect "white glove" service but we did at least expect competent people. First off, we paid extra to have the contracted delivery person to take our old mattress away. He refused to do so until I showed him my receipt. Then he illegally dumped my old mattress at my apartment complex dumpster after I explicitly told him not to do so. After they "delivery guy" (some guy and his girlfriend in a pick up truck) left, I realized they had delivered the wrong mattress. Today, over 2 weeks later, the correct mattress has finally been delivered. I will NEVER buy from them again if that's the garbage I have to put up with and from what I've been reading, I had a fairly easy time with them. Just the fact that they contract their deliveries to whoever makes it not worth the frustration.
