America's Advantage, florida America's disadvantage, is what it should be called!!

On march 19,2000 I was enrolled in a program called America's Advantage. This program was for discounts to be used in numerous situations like hotels, airfare, and several other agendas. On May 1,2000 i decided that i wasn't as happy with this program and that it was ,basically, a waste of my money. I had no use for it and didn't plan to travel much so i cancelled it. I was told by the "customer service representative" that I should receive my refund in 7-10 business days. I waited for 2 weeks and had not received my refund. I called to reassure that my refund was on the way. They ,again, reassured me that I would need to wait no more that 7-10 more days. After about three times of this merry go around i asked to speak to a supervisor. the supervisor made it out to be like the accounting office had messed up but reassured me that he himself would put my refund in , and i would never need to call again. Again...no refund. I had wanted and planned to close my bank account because i had another one of which i used more. I had incurred some overdraft fees in the amount of $ 72, due to the fact that I was told that i should expect my money the next day. The money never hit my account and i bounced a couple of checks. my bad!
After talking to several supervisors, i have been unsuccessful in getting an answer about the wherabouts of my money.I've been told that i should get a "check in the mail" in the amount of $144.00 but they don't know when. I find it hard to believe that no supervisor knows when i should get my check! Doesn't that sound weird? i filed a claim with the better business bureau and they have reached the company. The company responded withthe usual "we've acknowleged that we owe Ms. Reyes $ 144 and it is in the process...we are commited to prividing excellent customer service...blah blah blah" It is now August 15,2000 and I have yet to receive the money due back to me. I've tried everything. Who do I call now? I have pretty much been told that all i could do is wait until they get off their butts and decide to give me back my money. American Advantage sucks!! help me get my money!
