Complaint Review: Alpha and Omega Moving and Storage- Alex Sage and Phillip Cohen

I hired this moving company during a happy time in my life. I had just gotten engaged, closed on a new house in Buffalo NY and things were looking good, until the movers showed up. My items were destroyed, pilfered through and valuables were missing. My brand new IMAC was shattered into pieces. My furniture, in some cases, showed up as a pile of wood. Some boxes had rodent feces in them, gnawed holes through the boxes- it was disgusting. Medication was missing, jewelry was missing and this, I had thought, couldn't get worse. But it did. I went onto Yelp and reviewed the moving company. It was a fair and accurate review.I filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau. And within hours my phone started ringing. Alex Sage is an employee who answers the phone at Alpha and Omega. In response to my negative review (which was one of many) he took it upon himself to seek revenge upon me. I sell real estate and so he decided to post fake/negative reviews about my business online. In addition to this, he proceeded to harass me for days via phone, email and online review boards. Assuming that the owner would want to know about his employee behaving this way, I called the company. Of course, Alex Sage's job is to answer the phones so he would not allow me to get through. Upon my attempts however, he called me back and carrie don his campaign of harassment, this time threatening to kill me. Specifically, saying that I was going to have the "Boston Marathon" at my home. He then called a college at my company and threatened to kill him as well. Alex would use the information he had via the company files to scare me as in, he would tell me exactly which address I lived at now, etc.... I called the FBI and they are currently looking into Alex Sage. He has posted many frightening things online pertaining to his hatred towards women. For example, in response to a video showing a woman getting acid thrown in her face, he writes : "I don't feel sorry for any women though %) Life taught me the more we dislike them the better off we are... so I'm sitting here and like: yea b**** you deserve this c***!!!! =)))) However there is a disorder when a person sees or even cant see or recognize their own face... for them it became more complex thouts adding up overtime creating another disorder to destroy what makes you mad... and that maybe was her case... but after lying at first place she had to conserve it.." English is Alex's second language (he is Russian) therefore the poor grammar and spelling. He has also made other dangerous threats as indicated in his review online of the Courthouse in his area: "When I was at supreme court. That was the last time I'd ever go to this house of crooks. All judges I've met, public attorneys, all deserve to die there. If someone bombs the entire supreme court building I won't be surprised, nowadays anyone can make a bomb. They f***** up my life when I was in early 20's. I lost my business, 7 bedroom house, my luxury vehicle, and my whole family because of the supreme court. What happened? They threw me in jail for 30 days, without even realizing I'm a good responsible business owner that can't leave his business unattended. I was supposed to be a great white hope, promising everyone a great future. However, I came out of their correctional facility all f***** up in the head and super treacherous. Because of that I wasn't able to hold on to my business, house, and everything else. In jail they made me go crazy I was already telling them I wish their death, and uneducated retarded deputies were laughing. It was horrible I had to go to psych facility at one point in jail. I was not guilty, but they gave me a deal saying they would let me out, if I say no contest. Now I've learned that they set me up. I used to have a business to take care of old people because in the future the country will be overwhelmed with too manu convolescent care requirements, I was going to help the country with this but the Supreme Court destroyed my plans. Supreme court f***** me up!!! I even have a phobia going anywhere near it. I have so many legal things to take care of, but I don't want to be near that house of crooks. Now I have finished Harvard and Yale. I'm way above those crooks that do not deserve to live that work at Supreme Court House! is it a part of the government? I don't trust the government then. More people don't trust the government it'll be abolished in the future!" So you can see why I might be afraid of this person.... Here is the email he sent me shortly after I attempted to contact the owner, Phillip Cohen: "Harassment??? Don't even talk through your hat without knowing the law ma'am! You'll end up putting your own foot in the mouth quick! YOU performed an extortion, nobody will tolerate this, and your entire real estate empire will never be able to stand against alpha & omega in court. I only admonished you once, perhaps you would understand that it's better to retreat, and REPOST A TRUE STORY, adamant individuals like you learn it the hard way. Alpha & Omega has 95% satisfaction rate based on the first half of the 2013 which is the latest data... We have been an A+ for over 10 years with BBB! So you happen to fall into that 5% who happen to have fallen into lost/damaged category. There is a legal way you can perform your action, it's either going through our claims department or further may take it to court. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE, But slanderous libel will back blow you the harm in 10 folds, dragging you from court to court, and at the end you will end up loosing all of your acquisitions, on top of what you have, to cover for the value you're vandalizing. And you're going all in over few thousand of dollars??? The trust is the most expensive value ever! If I make you lose that, you're real estate career is over! AND THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY DOING TO ALPHA AND OMEGA!!! There are noobs out there who don't realize there's a proper way to handle such issues without a tort! However, you chose to war, and nobody will win in a war but lose. I know your family and I guarantee that you will lose to my family and this is not alpha & omega yet!!! We have the strongest lawyers in California, unlike in Buffalo, New York... and they can't be wrong about your actionable defamatory act. I was advised not to do the same thing in return. But, I am a human and I choose to stand my ground and protect this A+ company right away without waiting the lawsuits. It's independent from alpha & omega company, I am myself. All negative trolls and noobs that try to destroy people's jobs will not be tolerated by any philanthropic altruists... I will do the same thing you're doing to my friend's company if you don't amend by modifying your defamatory statements. You can go ahead and sue me. You can't call the cops silly, this ain't criminal, I'm abide by law unlike you! you're only 30? I'm also 30. But I have went through Ivy Leagues and I'm an athletic and intellectual leader, future is in our hands, the scientific leaders!!! My words will stand! +Alex Sage is my profile, This is outside of Alpha & Omega. The moving company is not involved in this neither aware of my plan yet. I am personally against your actions, and I'm doing you a favor by admonishing you before initiation! Sincerely, Alex Sage." A few days later, I got a call from Phillip Cohen. He said that he was out of town and that during this time, Alex was out of control. Phillip apologized and asked, what can I do to make this better? I said that I was a reasonable person and that simply re-imbursing me for the cost of my things that were destroyed (about 5k) plus removing all the falso online statements would be enough for me. Because I had filed a case with the insurance, we agreed to wait until I heard back and that he would make up the difference. About a week ago the insurance company informed me that they would be paying nothing, so I called Phillip. During this time we had also agreed to remove my negative posts about his company. After all, if they had made good on this promise, I wouldn't have beef with them any longer. Phillip has ignored my calls and emails, but has admitted to being responsible for posting negative reviews all over the internet via a Better Business Bureau Response seen here: "I apologize but majority of your statements are just not true. According to the supervisor you're sabotaging our company to get a higher premium. You were trying to destroy the moving company by attacking it. You were warned to stop, but you kept on getting worse. Once one of our former representative decided to stand the ground to protect our company he posted about your verbal vandalism on repoffreport. That was just a scratch of the surface. We did not sue you for slanderous libel or hold you responsible for ruining our reputation. Our company made it to 98% of satisfied customer last year, therefore we are proud of our services. And we won't let anybody slander about it. Thanks for understanding." I feel like the public needs to know how these people conduct themselves. Do not use this moving company because thousands of dollars of damage will be the least of your problems.
