Most credit card companies now charge late fees. However, I suspect that ADVANTA is holding back payments that are mailed in a timely manner, in order to charge the $35 late fee. Bills that are paid 8 to 10 days in advance by US Postal service should arrive and be posted in plenty of time to avoid that late charge.

I would like to know if there are others with similar complaints about ADVANTA or any other credit card company. Where can I investigate credit card law to determine how the consumer is to be protected from this kind of rip-off?
