Abslide is trying to rip me off **UPDATE info: how to get your money back

I ordered the Abslid 1/14 using my debit card(mistake). I agreed to pay 49.90. Imagine my surprise when I received my bank statement only to see TWO charges to Abslide- one for 49.90 and one for 69.85. I have been rounds with the customer service people- emailing, telephone, on-line chats(was to receive a transcript of that- surprise- never did!.

Anyway, to make a long story short- my bank faxed over my statements to show the two charges to Abslide- in which they responded that the two charges proved nothing. I continued to call Abslide and was assured that someone would contact me- which they didn't.

My bank refaxed the info to Abslide- still haven't gotten a response. I am now in the process of working with my bank- getting an affadavit today to start legal proceedings to get my money back.

I am also worried that someone there has my debit card number, so I am going to have change that too. We finally received the d**n thing on 2/12/01- my fiancee just returned it today, so I am sure I will have to mess with that.

We were surprised to see that the address to return the Abslide was Dominguez Hills, CA but the UPS people stated that it is really a Compton zip code. I am so frustrated with this- they are rip off artists. I have spent two weeks of my life dealing with them and getting nowhere.
